Red King crab

Red King crab (lat. name – Paralithodes Camtschaticus) is one of the largest crustaceans, its meat has distinctive flavor, nutritional and dietary properties.

The season of crab catching begins in mid-September and lasts until November. Crabs are caught by NWFC vessels in ecologically clean water of the Barents Sea (zone FAO 27) with the help of special traps. Today the catching and production of Red King crab at our factory are certified according to the international standard MSC (Marine Stewardship Council).

Right after being caught, Red King crab is cooked on board the vessel, brine frozen, cut up and packed into containers for further transportation observing all the quality requirements. This type of processing preserves organic raw materials in their natural state, thus guaranteeing good flavor properties and the quality of the products.

For making our products we use cooked frozen legs and claws of brine frozen Red King crab.
